for the Convertiplane GB on ARC...

here are a few pics of my Anigrand XV-1 in 1/72, haven't done much with it apart from clean up the various parts, glue the 2 fuselage halves together (haven't even cleaned up the joints properly yet), and knock the interior together, using a piece of plasticard for a floor, and adding some paper seatbelts.

have decided it will be in RAAF service, overall OD with a white cabin roof...

Looking good so far, Mikey ! That fuselage shape looks alot like the Hoverfly..is this a Sikorsky design as well ?

BTW...when does the Group Build close ? I'd like to bash a DHC Caribou with an Opsrey.

Cheers !

Neat.  Pic #2 makes me want to take a nuclear submarine model and hack it to pretty closely match your Anigrand (would be 1:32 or 1:24 scale, depending on the size of the sub model).

Hmmm...ScaleORama idea number 12?????

Actually, it's a McDonnell design.

Hi Mike

Yeah the RAAF scheme should look interesting, does that mean you'll do the S-67 in the desert splinter pattern from Oz ?

Cheers

Geoff

oooooh that's a good idea Thor...

September fourth, eh......I'd better get cracking !

Just wonder if I should use the engines and props from a 48th scale Osprey, or 72nd ? The Caribou is a rather large a/c, but probably not that much bigger than an Osprey.......
