I have a fuselage and wings of Boeing 747, Heller 1/125, but I do not have engines and landing gear  :banghead:
What to do?
Military cargo glider, or add wings from Tu20 1/100 with turboprop engines or blow into separate waste.

thanks for any idea

Karlik, I like the idea of a turbopropped Jumbo.  One could surmise that it was a Russian extrapolation of the civilian Tupolev family.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Maverick

The wing looks good there Karlik.  I had a quick look at scaling and the Tu wing would be small on the 747 but I think the differences in kit scale help it quite a bit.

Regarding Hank's maritime suggestion, I suspect he means a maritime patrol aircraft akin to the Nimrod or Orion, but after the flying boat comment, I'm sure someone here will try one!

That's the one that's still parked at Dunsfold, you can see it in the background quite often during 'Top Gear' programmes. It's a REAL World Whiff!  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The Skyfleet S570 aircraft also appeared in an episode of Primeval.

Army of One

I'm sure it was in Day of the Triffids as well.........the main character slept in an engine intake........

Karlik.....Yes to what Mav said.....ocean patrol a/c....seems to be loads of space available for mission crew and disposable stores in the cargo bays....I think that would be awesome....!!....bit big for a flying boat/amphibian.....where would you operate it from...? Wings to low down re props....??? How big would the floats have to be....???? But then this if the Whiffiverse and anything is possible.....!!!  ;D
