LF: Spitfires 72nd

The project I'm working on, in multiples of ten, is Spitfires and I'm currently looking for anything that may or may not be useful. Complete kits preferred but bits, spares, conversions, wreckage, etc, all is welcome. Mark no is irrelevent as I'm doing the lot! Naff fuselages with no gull wing are also useful - provided the modeller has a half decent wing, most are salvageable

Anything you're willing to part with, really.

Okay, I've got:

1. The Airfix Mk.IA blue-plastic "nostalgic" re-issue in a plastic bag with a printed header. Never opened, all there.

2. Another Airfix Mk.IA in a bag, this time in grey plastic with two canopies but no instructions, and a decal sheet of unknown provenance for a Mk.IIA.

3. Canopy sprue from an Academy Mk.14C, which features one closed and one open (three-part) canopy, a mirror (?) and a gunsight (?)

Make me an offer by PM....

I just bought two of the new airfix spits for the express purpose of lopping off the Griffons. You want the wings etc ?

Yes, whoch one is it? Early boxing or the more recent slight retool?

But hang onto it for now though. The spare room is overrun - literally - and I'm in the midst of a lot of construction!

You going to Telford for SMW?

'Fraid I can't make it to Telford this year - can't afford it! We'd all love to go for both days though, have a stall there, catch up with all you guys....

I think the Spit LF9 is an early one - I do have a couple of Airfix Spits on the way - not terribly sure what mark though!

PM Spitfire Vb with Vokes filter
KP Spitfire LF9
Airfix Spitfire IX (old kit - light blue plastic. My 1st Airfix kit!)
Airfix Spitfire Vb mid - eighties boxing

Any good to you?

Wrecked Spitfires - Frog/Novo 14s, Matchbox 9s - especially wanted. Found I can convert the latter quite easily into a 12!
