My last finished project.....

Carro celere di caccia del autostradi Sahariani

Fast pursuit car of Saharian Haighways.

Italians win the War in African desert. Later they built a net of highways thru the Saharian desert. And Italian army did work like a Highway Police Patrol.

This car is from 1974,"Comendattore di ragruppamento del carros celere di caccia 5"( Commander of 5th groupment of fast pursuit cars) , Maggiore (Major) Sandro Munari.

Kit is poor old Italeri 1:24....

ROTFL!

I love it, a Stratos Highway Patrol, whatever next! The only trouble is you'd hear it coming about two miless off, not that you could run fast enough to get away though.....

Brilliant stuff Panther.  Quite an inspired concept.  Reminds me of a futuristic Police car that I built back in my high school days.  It was a Bandai kit, I think, about 24th scale with a couple of figures along with the vehicle.  I've still got bits and bobs of it in the spares bin.

I am totally loving this. There is a real-world thing where racers paint their cars in aircraft-style camo and markings; I have seen a Rabbit (Mk. I Golf) painted like a Bf-109, a 1976 Civic painted like a giant Hinomaru, and a Mustang painted like, well, like a Mustang. I myself have been thinking of painting my (currently red) '85 Honda CRX racer like a Zero...

Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part...

They were at RIAT Fairford a couple of years ago. Some wag plastered the 'Me 109s' with decal bullet holes!  ;D ;)
