I planned on doing this 'stock', but after sitting in my stash for about 40 years I have grave doubts about the decals, the surface is a little crackly. It might be possible to salvage them with a coat of Micro Superfilm, but I'm not going to rely on that working. I may try to use some of the originals here and there, and if they hold together I'll save most of the rest for some other project, maybe a Space Shuttle. The Pan Am decals are the ones from the Airfix Boeing 727-200 that got turned into the Rayador.

It's in progress, just dithering over how much I want to bother detailing the interior. I tried painting the interior but it looks horrid, have to find something nicer. Front windows and side door windows have been cut out, pods have been glued in place.

Here's a couple of in-progress pics. The diagonal line you see in the window is actually light coming through the separation line of the top and bottom halves, it's not a perfect fit. Hasn't been glued because I might do some interior detail.

I think, given the severely basic exterior form, if you have the skill-set (& you do) you should do at least some internal detail - to add interest to what is really little more than a slightly oddly shaped box.
Has a life outside of What-If & wishes it would stop interfering!
