My take on the Freightdog P.12 Conversion.

With the threat of bombers attacking British airspace, the UK adopted a high/low mix of fighters to combat them. Looking after the lower end was the Hunter (see http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,26466.0.html at the upper end the Canberra.

Thanks for looking

Nice job, and so believable too.

Is that the Airfix PR9 kit you used as a basis?

It was the the PR9 wings and the B.(I)8 fuselage.

...which begs the question 'What are you going to do with the other bits?'  ;D ;)

Do the long chord PR9 wings fit the short chord B(I)8 fuselage then?

There was a gap to fill in, just used filler.

Other bits, not sure yet.

Wow!  Whiffing a Whatif!  I like.  I especially like the marking scheme - the red tail adds an interesting bit of flash to this scheme.

It somewhat reminds me of a CF-100 Canuck, but much cooler.  Sorry Canada.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.
