Is there anyone that makes in1/72nd scale the upgrade AV-8 B+ Harrier radar nose. I have a couple of the bog stock av-8b's and a + version and would like to make the others into the radar nosed + version.
Cheers,
Chris.

Sounds like time to find a friendly Whiffer who can make moulds and stuff............

Would I suggest something as bizarre as that?

Don't know of any aftermarket resin noses for the AV-8B+. I think that's down to Hasegawa offering one in their inexpensive "white box" line, which costs the same as the non-radar version.

Is an FA.2 nose close enough? There are FA.2 aftermarket sets.

You could possibly use some drop tank bits?
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

I will have a look at the nose on my Harrier +, it is the Hasegawa one and see if it is indeed similar to a sea harrier, or if it is similar to any of my drop tanks I have spare.
Cheers,
Chris.

Ok Ill dig out one of my Hase AV-8B+ kits and see how cloneable  the nose is.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

I have an AV-8B+ conversion set from Aviation Workshop that I am not using since I got enough of the Hasegawa kits for what I want. Send me a PM with your address and I will get it in the post to you, probably Saturday.
