Yes, I am well aware of the fact that I *promised* not to start any new builds.....but hey, that doesn't include old half builts !

This is pretty much the way I found them. I've done a bit of work on the Bucc, incl. fabbing up a piece for the tail. Oddly enough, I found some of the missing parts from the kit in my spares box.....

Any clues you can give as to mods/schemes you'll be doing? :)

How can I tell you when I'm not even sure myself ! I would love to do them both in the wrap around gray/green camo, and the Tonka loaded with old-school iron practice bombs, the blue ones. I built one that way when I was a kid and it was my favourite to play with. Or maybe a two-tone gray wrap around...I just don't know yet !

How about a SEAD Bucc, with ALARMs and the BOZ/Skyshadow pods from the Tonka? That would be a neat twist. :)

Both sound delicious.....and I have been mulling over exactly that ! My problem is, I'm stuck on an East Coast Canada theme.....land-based antis-ship. But we'll see !

Glued some styrene rod to the nosewheel door....

You gotta trim the open door locator off both the outside

And the inside

And then everything goes together smoothlishly....

The fin-less Tornado is very uncommon, pleasant  Will you dare building it that way? ;D
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Captain Canada

Nope....I glued it on last night before I went to bed !

Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part...

Love the Bucc.. be watching this build unfold

Captain Canada

Thanks guys. Rally, that's lovely, but I want something dirtier...a down-low kinda aeroplane like the Bucc just doesn't seem to fit that otherwise gorgeous RCN scheme.

Hacked up some old Sidewinders to make the ARI 18218 aerials

And why, with all that wing, did the Bucc only have 4 pylons ?

Haha, consider the overwing idea pinched.

Haha...for sure ! I was kind of surprised at how 'at home' the rails looked above the wing. I've been mulling over the idea of adding some ECM blisters on the intakes, but being the first Bucc I've ever built, I'm falling in love with it's sexy shape and can't bring myslef to alter it !
