Hello I'm new here and I have a question I was looking on line the other day for some pictures of the Pegasus Hobbies 1/72
Apollo 27 Rocket. I found this forum and a thread about that very subject the problem is that there have not been any posts in a long time. I'm very intrested in the build by a member named MMM here is the picture I hope to see the finished project.

I became insane...with long intervals of horrible sanity...

One of our chaps (Nick??) made a Soviet one I think.

I'm thinking of a Meerkat one, and....

Parts is the best I can come up with.  I never "got" the Apollo 27 kit, other than it was kit-bash fodder.

Certainly starting one soon....French sounds a good idea, and the main hull will be elongated, with other mods too. Some sort of weaponry for interception.

Might be based on Terra Firma, or might be Mars-based. Not sure yet.

Started one today.

Butchery seperated the top half from the bottom, which is now complete with cleaned up engine pods, etc. I'll leave the exhausts until the end.

The top half will have another length of something added before joing once more.

It's most likey to be a 1/144th model too.

1/72nd after all.

Top half done, and when cleaned up, I'll glue the intervening tubular section to it.

Still most likely French, but others will be British, of course.

Intergalctic rockets, guarding against meteorite hits in the '50s, '60s etc....

I fancy a big long red one.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
