Just saw this.  Dragon 1/200 MD-80 with those crazy un-ducted fan motors.  True, it's dicast but at least it's in a decent scale.

Might have to order one.  Have no idea what to do with it, but what the hell, right?  :blink:

I wish someone had done those UDF engine modules in 1/144, the whiffing possibilities would have almost been endless! Imagine a VC10 with FOUR of them!

Sadly there are so many blades on the darn things that it would drive me NUTS trying to scratchbuild just one!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
