That's great!! And they're at Telford too. It's just that one of my "Biggles" Dakotas will be French Air Force, postwar, and I want a suitable vehicle to pop alongside it.
Got lots of ideas now!
Cheers.

Does it have to be diecast? The Academy 1:72 P-51C "Red Tails" boxing comes with a jeep, if that's any use?
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

And this link may help you find what you want, I did a search using 'jeep' and 1/72 as a scale and a load of stuff came up --

Hasegawa do one in 1/72nd as do Academy in some of their US aircraft kits and I think Italeri do a two-pack in their quick build series for that wargame theyy do. In 1/76th there are Revell (ex Matchbox LRDG set & Morris C8 sets), Fujimi and Airfix (with the Buffalo). Heller do one listed as 1/72nd but not sure if it's an Airfix 1/76th rebox.
Lots of Wargames companies do them in resin and white metal.

the Cararama range has a really nicely detailed Jeep in 72 scale (they are better detailed than most plastic ones too), iv a few 'spare' ones if you want i'll bring it along to Telford

cheers, Joe

Spotted them and I thought..."expensive!".
A pity Oxford Diecast don't do something (got their Landrovers )

I've ordered a couple of packets of Italeri ones....it was just that I was being lazy. They're for after Telford anyway. My Telford builds are all progressing, with appropriate vehicles already bought.

Cheers, chaps
