In other words, cool helicopters! We never get enough of them here, and maybe this will spark some interest

I like this one - could imagine them roaming the battlefield in swarms!

A quick check of my hard drive shows that I have tons of rotary goodness to share with this thread.  First up, some prototypes.

First up, the AH-56 Cheyenne.
Then, the S-67 Black Hawk.
A little more recent is the Sikorsky X2.
And it's Eurocopter counterpart, the X3

Next, some Mil concepts for what became the Mi-28 "Havoc".

Last, some helos from the Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex series.

A couple of images of the Jigabachi attack helo.  This featured famously in the second 2nd Gig episode "Natural Enemy" where an AI-driven helo fought against the Tachikoma thinktanks.
Then the Oniyama assault transport.  Note the intermeshing rotors and the 30mm gatling on the nose.  This was seen in several first episodes.  The Umibozu sniper who "assassinated" Motoko Kusanagi in episode 25 "Barrage" fired his shot from one of these.
Last is the ubiquitous tilt-rotor seen in most episodes.

Searching for those last, I turned up a few others.  The first purports to be from Ghost in the Shell, but it must be in the manga, because I don't recall ever seeing anything like it in the anime.  I give you the "Hecatoncheires" sniper helicopter.  The last image I found on an RPG/wargaming site, and it's supposed to be an assault helicopter built by a conglomerate of Bell and Kamov.  The rotors don't look long enough.  Also, note the tail turret that swings down and forward.

That sniper helicopter is from the original GITS movie, in the final section where the Major and Batou get attacked after defeating the arachnid tank. You don't see much - it's dark, and they're black - but they are there. :)
