This car was known in Spain, al least, as Austin Victoria.
Is there any model, any media, of it?

Thanks in advance,
Carlos.

Interesting. Do you know why only in 2 countries and not UK? I found it quite attractive.

I think Airfix made a MG or so that can be modified

You could try modifying a Triumph Dolomite, I think that's the closest model.

Ah yes, the Victoria was a Spanish built version of the Apache, which was designed in the late '60s and built from '71 on in both countries, and ended in Spain around '75 when the Authi factory folded.

The centre section was standard 1100/1300 (ADO16) but BL prevailed upon Micholotti to design new front and rear ends for it, making the previous 2 box car into a 3 box saloon. The rear especially looked very much like the Triumph 1300/2000/Dolomite series, and the front was similarly styled but perhaps not so successfully.

Amazingly there's 2-3 Apaches in the UK, imported from South Africa at sometime, I saw one at the Gaydon Museum 2-3 years ago, and it looks very odd alongside standard ADO16s.

The Airfix MG1300 is a 2 door, but it shouldn't be too impossible to scratch a new front and rear end for it.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Ah, got that round my neck then, sorry. I built one as a 2 door umpteen years agoo and it must have stuck in my memory.

Darned if I'd buy one at that price though! Euro 99.9? Strewth!  :banghead:
