After the P-51Dd I have built this year (see http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,28245.0.html ), that was the first step of my Crazy Mustangs list, now the final and 8th step will be the same with P-51Bs, half streamlined into a glider. As I have a single 51B (Airfix), and a 51A (Frog? Revell?), the latter one will be the streamlined one, with exactly the same result, maybe even more simple to do.

The start of truncation has occured on the P-51A part. The first puty on it also.

...a "winner" to me!

How is the thing hung for landing and/or being on the ground? Strut underneath each fuselage, and both main landing gear folding the same direction into the wing (on the left)?  Mag-Lev?
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

Well, there is no landing gear: this is a desk model, not a flying aircraft... ;)
