I'm on the lookout for airfield equipment in 1/72 and 1/144  like tractor units, stairs, trolleys etc, I have some stuff from Preiser but not vehicles , so does anyone know whom makes it or have any they no longer require ?

Hya Tim I will send it with the decals ok, I can't think of anything I need at the moment, but if you have any "goodies" you think might interest me.
I will get the stuff posted off to you during the week.

If you haunt ebay, search for resin airfield equipment and you'll find various people in China (mainly) moulding stuff in 1/72.  The smaller scale stuff is pretty rare.

DML/Dragon did some US Navy tow-tractors and such things in some of their 1/144th kits;

F-5E/F: Tractor, APU, and oxy-bottles

EF-18G: Fire engine & ground crew (reduced copies of the 1/72 Fujimi stuff)

Fujimi did two good sets in 1/72:

Some of this stuff may fit in your time frame. I have some of their stuff for wargames use and it's nice.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Tim,

Knightwing do a neat pair of forklift trucks in their N gauge Linside Accessories range, near enough to 1/144 as makes no difference. I've used them for airport dioramas before now. Botom right hand corner of the page below.

You might find some OO or HO scale items that fit the bill at a railroad shop or online.

Just to follow up on Beowulf's entry, those truck kits are very nice. I had one of the Volvo F-12's ages ago, and it's really well done.
