Yes...I'm expecting Twiglet ASM's for the next installment, either that or twiglet AAM's..

Ok, who's gonna think of a name for these creations??

I submit the Marmite Missile for any type of AAM that appears.

LOL, no Nev they are not real Twiglets, but that thought did cross our minds.  Problem was we couldn't find two Twiglets that are about the same size!

I would rather eat napalm than Marmite ;D

AGREED!

There's nothing wrong with Twiglets....

Nothing natural about them either...

...the scrapings of Satan's ringpiece...  >:(

I take it you've tried all three in order to offer us this comparative taste testing ?  ;D

Twiglet 2 is now in the possession of OGL.

I mentioned in passing to him that I had spare decals for Twiglet 3, (also got numbers for 4 and 5) but OGL just kind of shuddered  :o  at that notion.  But I think a bomb-burst display of all 5 of the Devil's Toothpick Team (with the supporting a/c) and the Green Bucket 'O' Twiglets, surrounded by fun size bags of Jacob's finest would look just so fine on a WIf display.  Or perhaps as guests of the Fine Wine and Strong Cheese SIG (aka the Aerobatic Display Team SIG) if they do ever get round to adopting a What If ADT theme at a future Telford.

Does anyone want the Secret Twiglet Recipe?  No?  Well, here it is anyway.

Floquil textured diorama base stuff from a rattle can (the sand colour) applied over a tacky sand base coat.  Add lumpy bits for the realistic twiglet look using blobs of filler.  Then dry brush in a brown shade similar to the French desert brown shade.  Easy.

This close inspection made me realise that Twiglets have markedly changed.  :o They used to be far more knobbly and coated in black viscous stuff, something like Venezuelan crude bitumen from the Orinoco.   But now the contemporary Twiglet has a more uniform texture.  Next up - mark my words - they'll be shrinking them, just like Wagon Wheels and Cadbury's Creme Eggs already have.   >:(

The future's so bright, I gotta wear NVGs...
