Focke-Wulf TL "Flitzer" (Revell 1/72)

Well, enough lurking for me, time to present a new what-if...



First stage: The interior of the cockpit is painted in Zinc Chromate...


Some touches of colours to make the cockpit more attractive...




The tyres are painted with Dark Rubber from Panzer Ace


Boltgun Metal from Citadel Colors for the exhaust


The half fuselages are glued together. Not so easy, for the cockpit placement... Some putty will be needed. Then, the wings and the rear part of the aircraft are also glued (and, again, some putty will be needed)

Always liked this one.  Think it would look good in Rodesian Vampire markings.

She's gonna be a total whiff, not with a deco from the box... And yes I like the Flitzer but will build this one only. Other Luft'46 are awaiting in my stash...

I am looking forward to seeing what you do with the flitzer, they do have lots of whiff potential don't they
I pusher turbo propped one a while back, and made it into a modern USMC COIN aircraft.

The Revel kit is a good one - goes together nicely - I gotta say the white one in US markings kinda looks nice

I've applied two putties:

- Vallejo for the easy, "straightforward" locations
- Tamiya for most difficult locations/corrections.

Loving this.......will it be an 'Experten' aircraft...? I got a started one that was gonna be an Ace's a/c but not sure who's....was leaning towards a red 13 Heinz Bar.....had some FW190 markings for him....bout the same stage you are at.....what colours you gonna use....?....H

Thank you... It will not a German aircraft, actually I'm thinking about a totally imaginary air force. Not fixed yet for the colours, perhaeaps sand/green/brown...
