My Whirlwind family have been seen before, but what the hell heres one for you guys to look at.

You have before you the Westland Whirlwind PR II.

Im slowly building up a large family of these birds. An aircraft that was never allowed to reach its full potential

Great birds :D

I loved curly whirlie chocolate as a bairn, now I think I need to build a Westie Whirlie.

Great work  :D

NARSES2

Beautifull plane and I do love the sea Whirlwinds.

I've seen a recent ad for the Bilek kit - so they may be out again
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Well, I've got the MPM  one and an airfix one that I picked up at the nats.I was planning on doing a family of them as well, but we'll see now. I'dliketo pick up a few more to do some of the versions thatI want to do, but I'll wait until the Bilek ones are re-released.

Do you mean there could have been a Tankbuster version of the Whirlwind ? Or do you mean the Martin-Baker Tankbuster (there is a Unicraft model for it) is related somehow to the Whirlwind ?
