I keep reading references to Maintrack Models resin conversion kits.   Are they still in production and if so, do they have a website or does anybody know anybody who stocks them online?

Nope they were around during the late 80's 90's run from Dorking Models. Most of the range was sold to Whirlybird/Heritage Aviation in the mid 00s, and they have reissued some of the former range.

Thanks.  Found both.  Some interesting stuff but not the one I was looking for - the tandem hunter trainer conversion.   :(

good luck, That one is worth its weight in gold. Ive only seen one in the last 15 years or so.
I always hope for the best.

There used to be a connection between Whirlybirds and Heritage Aviation (formaly Arrdvark Models) but since Ian Taylor took over HA I don't think it is so anymore.

But Whirlybirds still put out a number of the old Maintrack kits,  here's some pics of their catalogue which is a 2008 one but I do have a 2009 somewhere.

I have one, and no it's NOT for sale, but could anyone with the necesarry skills clone it from my original perhaps?

You'd be dead lucky if they can as I'm just about to use it for a Hunter that HS never got around to building.  -_-
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Oh well, back to scratch building one then.  Meteor NF14 cockpit was the suggestion someone made on here IIRC.
