Here is an updated version of the Fairey Swordfish  up-engined and up gunned and twinned.

A double-Double Mamba powered biplane? That's insane!

Insanely cool.

That's mad enough to be brilliant  :banghead:

Thank you all.

I'm not quite sure what role she would fill apart from maybe some kind of super anti-shipping aircraft.

Up-gunned? You're not kidding!

What is that thing anyway, a 4.7" AA gun hung under the wings?

(Didn't you just KNOW Tophe would like this? )

I love the twinning, I forgive the plastic "gun" ;D

It's "Borrowed" off a Hs 129 so is 75mm or about 3 inches. Plus of course the  12 Rocket Projectile 3 inch and

10 .303 machine guns and  a Torpedo.

So watch out any Axis shipping.

Nice one!  A thought though, have you considered combining the horizontal tails as well?  She seems a bit unstable with just the wings connected.  Just a thought, can't wait to see her in paint!

And anything else that happens to come its way!

The turret mounted .303s look handy, a quick burst from both turrets facing rearward should give a handy 'over the target' power boost too..........  -_-
