I notice we are now running or have just finished running all four of the GBs chosen in the last great GB poll thing. When's the next GB poll going to happen? Seems to me it'd be a good idea to run it before the current crop of GBs end so we don't have any nasty gaps in the schedual...

Heh, I was hoping no one would notice until we had to run the 5th place Comic Book GB.  ;)

Oh, yeah, new polls! Where can I vote for the Tigermeet GB?

So, we'd need a new nomination thread before carrying on with the polls. In that regard, starting early may be a good thing so we won't run out of GBs (which I'll probably fail to participate in anyway :banghead:).

So, what happens if there are 2 or 3 GB we'd like to vote for? WIll we get the chance to do that?

Sooo....
Should someone in a position of power be firing up the nominatrons and pollerators?
Should we just nominate via this thread or what?

Allow me to pre-emptively nominate the following (which I will re-nom if an official nom thread is invented)
- Single Kit Kitbash
- With a HERRING!
- Great War
- Figures
- Landships

And Master Classes of course, but I think they might be sort of run sideways and are not really GBs, but sort of run like them sort of.

So what are the prime contenders for the next group build so a poll can be created ?

G

I would go with the Single Kit Kittbash, got an idea for that all ready lined up  ;D

I actually did a talk/demonstration on kit-bashing once when I was a member of the local model club.

Certainly got everyone's attention when I started with "Some people think that kit bashing means this....." followed by my mashing an old German WWII tank into pieces with a hammer.

That is an attention getter!

I must add though that the Never Retired GB shows a lot of promise... thought I would mention it.

My nominations would be:

Whiffer's Tiger Meet GB
Sharkmouth GB
Test & Experimental GB
Figures GB (we need to see more figures built!)

To be honest, I could do with a break from GBs after SCW is finished in order to finish off a slew of other projects. However, I do think it's high time the Gerry Anderson GB got it's chance: it's been the bridesmaid any number of times now.

Great idea.  Lets get started planning for the next group builds.
My suggestions:
     Test, Evaluation & Experimentation
     Single Kit
     Racers
     Drop Tank
     Movies & Comics
