This is suppose to be a land base type Phalanx system which is derived from the CIWS based on Naval ships. I scratch built it in scale 1/20 using house hold materials like deodorant caps, staples, wood, dental retainers etc... This was one of my first scratch build models.

Excellent.  Impeccable scratchbuilding.  Now, if you had it sitting in the back of a HEMATT or similar truck it would definitely look the part of a land based CIWS.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

That looks just the sort of model you see at Farnborough, on some weapon manufacturer's stand. Magnificent quality work there ti, well done indeed.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Great job Ti, looks very credible for last ditch defence of critical assets.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Actually, the Centurian C-Ram is a the trailer based land Phalanx the US Army uses already.

ti, yours is truly beautiful.  Like someone else said, something that would be presented at an industry show.
