I don't know about the Dark Green, but Tamiya Dark Sea Grey is XF-54.

It would seem that the official color is MEDIUM sea gray, which may be why it seems dark

Its a color that never seems to look the quite the same twice:

Medium Sea Grey was only used on the uppersurfaces of the V-Bombers, Phantoms, Buccaneers, Jaguars ,Harriers And Hunters carried Dark Sea Grey/Green. Medium Sea Grey was also used as the Undersurface colour on these jets before the wrap-round colours were adopted. Sorry ,just realised my mistake, undersides were Light aircraft grey not MSG.

And then of course there were the occasions that Extra Dark Sea Grey was used like on Vulcans for the Black Buck raids....

I have never used Tamiya's Dk Grn or Dk Grey for any RAF model, not because they are 'wrong' but quite simply because Humbrol 163 & 164 are perfect as are the Xtracolour & WEM equivelents, and most importantly for me..... they're enamels, and I have always preferred enamels.

Best not get into fading and weathering here, best place for that contentious topic is in the 'Techniques' section.
