Now, you're saying to yourself, "There was no VF-1 Phantom!",and you'd be right. I have a very old set of decals for the VF-1 Wolfpack that I needed to use. I didn't have a F-14 (1/144) so I got a Phantom instead. With a few cuts here and a few snips there, this is what I've got so far. I will be done in the next couple of days. ;D

I gotta say, that looks pretty slick on a Phantom, Eddie.
Putty-fu, Scratch-jutsu and Bash-chi, the sacred martial arts of the What-If. Mastering them, is Ancient Chinese Secret.

Just your friendly neighbourhood Mad Scientist and Ship-whiffer.

Overkill? Nah, it's Insurance.  So are the 20" guns.

When I saw the title, I thought this was some kind of Macross Phantom :rolleyes:
The actual result looks good though!

very nice, alwys liked the wolfpack markings.  control surfaces in white will set it off nicely.
