Is the Tupolev "Wingski" purely fictional, or did you start from an existing design?

The kit you used reminds me of those old improbably-scaled Aero plastic kits I used to win at fun fairs as a kid...

Both are cool, but the "Wingski" is pure genius!

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Nice, Joe!  How you managed to put decals onto a 1/700 plane is beyond me.  I usually just put a dot of paint on  ;D
I exist to pi$$ others off!!!

Looks like it started life as a Pit-Road Bear, in 1/700.

Yup, the little Tu is a Bear I hacked up in a moment of inspired whiffery. The decals require just patience and properly supported hands.

There are more images, and a backstory, for the Kolrabie in the Patchwork World thread on the Alternate History section.

Good work! I've got two of those Bears that came with an Ohio boomer dio. Looks like you've given me a bit of inspiration. :D
Look behind you!

The Harrier is very nice, but the wingski is simply inspired.
