Of the various soviet giant (and awesome) trucks shown on this page, are there any available in model form? I'd rather 1/72 due to sheer size. I know about Dragon's 1/35 scud launcher truck thingee, but any others out there?

Probably just for stock builds, but maybe one could be turned into a Soviet Mobile Monster Defense Laser (well... if the world worked like a Godzilla film, Russia would be over run with giant monsters due to Chernobyl)
There are no good kits, bad kits or grail kits, just kitbash fodder.

PST does a 1/72 S-300 PMU /SA-10 Grumble SAM system, both the radar vehicle and the TEL(s). Reviews of that on Cybermodeler HERE, HERE and HERE.

Beside producing the MAZ 543 trucks the S-300 system uses, ArsenalM also does a 1/72 1/87 RS-12 M TOPOL/SS-25 SICKLE on MAZ 7917.
Armory does that one too, albeit in 1/72 scale. CLICKY.

I think the Chernobyl + monster idea has a lot of potential.

EDIT: Fixed the scales.

Ach Mein Gott!!!

Moritz, is that 1/72?  They have a Smerch?  I'm guessing that's resin, right?  I would love to get my grubby little fingers on a Smerch in 1/72, I always thought those were the single most brutal piece of artillery out there.

I thought ArsenalM stuff was 1/87 scale same as Roco ?

Me too! IMPRESSIVE BEASTS!

But the 3P51 RUBEZH also looks pretty interesting. Hmmm, M977 HEMMT with containerized Harpoons for coastal defence?

There's one the Japanese have for a coastal defense with their SSM-2 which is essentially a Harpoon, I think it packs like... six rounds in a truck.
