With the Gloster (now part of B.A.C) Dolphin T1 proven in R.A.F service,B.A.C develops a Mk2 version.
The Mk2 has an uprated R.R Viper, strengthend wing to carry tip tanks for improved endurance, strengthend undercarriage, all new avionics and a less framed canopy to improve vision.
This Mk2 enters service with the R.A.F as the Dolphin T2 and several other air forces purchase variants.
A light strike version,Strike Dolphin (not sure about the name!) is also produced and sells quite well.
My model here shows the second prototype owned by B.A.C ready for display at the Farnborough Air Show alongside is my original T1 for comparison.
Hope you like it and as always any and all comments welcome.
Baco.

Very nice!  That's one of the all time classic schemes IMHO...fits nicely on the Delfin too.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Thanks for comments chaps.Anyone come up with a good name for the strike Dolphin(ie; Strikemaster) as I haven't! If I can get another L-29 kit I,ll build one.G-DOLF maybe!
On to the next project then, thinking about the USN VTX contest. What might it have been if not the Goshawk ?

I feel sorry... This seems so real, so true-life aircraft, something is missing for me (sorry).
I see mention above of "Strikemaster" but the cockpit is so different. What aircraft kit (basis?) is used for those beauty of yours? UK version of a Czech plane? T-tail version of a normal plane? Maybe this should be obvious, but please let someone explain a little for the old tired minds feeling blurred...

Reading again... L-29 kit is mentionned.
And Czech L-29 Delfin, Google finds, all right. Sorry.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Why not call the "strike Dolphin" the Orca?
