I made this Airfix Harvard, back in the 1970's, and as I've said before, I love hardware from movies. The T-6 is just standard and the colour scheme dark grey uppersurfaces, light grey underneath. The I-37 I think was hand painted, and the model represents one of the 'Luftwaffe' bombers on the airfield where James Garner takes the Bestman.
An easy model to make.

Way cool Glenn!!

As nice as my father's Harvard, of which this is a model!!

'nother shot along with the real one.

Be careful Ollie, don't let the PLA see that your model is a different shade of green to the real thing!  :o  :o
Between almost-true and completely-crazy, there is a rainbow of nice shades - Tophe

Sales of Airfix kits plummeted in the 1980s, and GCSEs had to be made easier as a result - James May

Actually, the picture of the real one is off as far as colours go, and the model is over lightened.

Put the two together in a dark hangar and it's all the same!
