What scale is that?

I've a future project in mind of a CVE (escort carrier) into a seaplane support ship. The USN actually planned this, for their Seamaster jet flying boat bombers. I'm going to add some Seadarts and it would be fun to find some other subjects to add to the vignette.

In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Coming along nicely.

But it's still your TSR box that kills me----cool!!

Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

QuoteToad, it's the Planet resins kit. It's really nicely cast, hollow fuselage halves, but the cockpit tub is a fuzzy bunny to install (I know several people who've had problems).
I agree with everything Wookster say's - good kit, but a bugger to get the cockpit tub in ! I had trouble with getting the wings straight as well (down to my abilities I think) which is why my Dutch version is a Mk 2 with dihedral

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

His site actually has a link to the gallery on our club web site with my Martin Seamaster that I built a couple of years ago.

Cool plane the kit however sucked big time.

I think the SRA1 is now in the Southampton Hall of Aviation with other locally built aircraft from Saunders Roe and Supermarine?

Nicks right. The real bird is at Southampton. Come to think of it, the one that sank at Cowes is still down there accourding to the locals.

I've got plans for about 7 or 8 SRA 1's, soooo I need to drop mine in some rubber, when I can get arond to practicing!!!!. Currently, the line up includes FEAF, RN Pacific Fleet, Korean, Suez,  MEAF, based out of Malta, RAFG to do Baltic ASW patrols and a few more East of Suez examples.
