Hello everyone, I've finally been able to give the go ahead to Anigrand to start production of the Hawker P.1154. release will be set for one months time at IPMS Southern Expo in mid March. I don't have the final price yet but its going more than I hoped. Because of the USD exchange rate its costs me double that of the Avro 720 to produce, but obviously it can't sell for double. As a result and in order for me to maintain a reasonable profit margin, it will only be available directly from me (since if I sell it to trade I will effectively be giving them away). By doing it that way I should be able to keep it at just below £40.00 for the first batch of 60, but the second batch may have to be more expensive. Sorry guys, I blame it on the bankers...

Count me in for a firm order for one Colin, probably take more during the course of the year as well

Good news, I've been looking forward to this kit.

Colin, I'll definitely take one, but I wont be at IPMS Southern Expo. Bit far from Western Canada. When will the kit be available from your site?

Yes Simon, I'll put on the wedsite when the resin arrives, I don't like to take money until I get them in my hands!

Shame about the price - more than my personal limit for an aircraft this size and I have to say I've not been impressed by the quality of Anigrand's casting on every box I've opened of theirs. Hope it sells well and justifies a repop from another resin manufacturer when the exchange rates aren't killing us.

Colin, please put me down for one, I'll buy it as soon as is available. I have been looking forward to this, but having built a couple of Anigrand kits I am not expecting such fine casting or detail as the 720 or P.1083, though.

Hi Van, no problem. The casting is not up the A2Zee standard, and on the SR177 I had to reject around 1 in 6 kits so people buying them should be happy with what they get. I'm not going to charge modellers £40 for a kit that has quality control casting errors.
