Here is my Vigilante that I showed you all a while back in its unfinished state, well this plane hs been finished for a while now but I hadn't got round to photographing it, so here it is just about finished. I may repaint the SRAM's a different colour though.

Cheers,
Chris.

This model looked so 'real' I sighed: "nice build, but this is no what-if... while... uh, had the true Vigilante only 1 fin?"
I asked Google and found http://www.murdoconline.net/archives/005564.html - yes 1, and so better with your 2!
Yes, this is a great improvement you made! Thanks for sharing... ;D
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Looks like the Strike Eagle's granddad!

Very cool. I'd say light grey or white for the SRAMs.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

I was thinking of light grey for the SRAM's, as I HATE with a passion trying to paint anything white. The other mods are an F-18 Nose, with a bit about 10mm stuck between the fuselage and the new nose, and the engine nozzles are off a Sukhoi......I think.

The tail fins are off a matchbox F-14 Tomcat, just to keep the navalised theme going.

I wonder how a stinger tail (with M-61 sting) would look on a Vigi?

Oh yeah, that's a cracker!

Twin fins suit it very well......

I, too, like the all-over grey.  It's different, futuristic, and nasty (in the best combat aviation sense).

Nice!
