All right, I finally did it. I pulled out my Revell Graf Zeppelin and am going to build it as it could, as it should have been, comrades!  :drink: I will demonstrate how glorious Soviet workers would have corrected the inferior Fascist vessel into a example of superior Socialist engineering.

I plan to base the airgroup on this old build:

I regret that I do not remember who did these aircraft originally. I salute them with good Socialist beer.

Joe,

I can't find the articles on the old site that supported the Soviet Carrier Aviation GB, but I read them religiously when I first started visiting the site.  From what I remember, three of those aircraft were kitbashed from MiG-15s.  It's long out of production, but Pit Road did a set of 1/700 Soviet aircraft with two each of the MiG-15, -17 and -19.  I'm not sure where you'd find one, these days, but it you did, it might save you having to scratchbuild some of your airgroup.

Looking forward to seeing your build in action, Joe!

I have aircraft that will be close enough in 1/700 scale, one per each of the six, including the helo. I've started on the carrier, and am deciding on a paint scheme.

I'll post photos shortly.

I'll post the promised photos tomorrow, and then I'll get back to work, after a proper application of vodka.  :drink:

I am much enjoying the other builds here, comrades!

Yes, a little later than promised, but this comrade has been stuck in the capitalist world.  :banghead:
