this model is an entry for the "Dutch F-16 replacement GB" on a dutch modeling forum, of cource i will post progress here to (to get positive comments rather then the many negative ones from the dutch JMN's, no offence)

the kit i'll be building is the 1/72 Italeri X-32A kit, combined with the decals from the 1/72 mastercraft F-16A.

here's a pic of the actual F-16A "Dirty Diana".

Bah!!!!
All hail the God of Frustration!!!

Great idea.  Are you going to do it in grays like the F-16's?

Ed
We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Jeffry Fontaine

Italeri also offers the same markings in one of their 1/48th scale F-16 kits.  So it would be possible to do the same thing with the Panda F-35 kit in 1/48th scale.

I like it but, um, her mouth is now yellow from the background on the fin!
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

what? your wife doesn't wear lipstick to match her clothes? c'mon !!!  Just ask Mrs. Hitler...

Nice stuff (and to anyone who finds nipples offensive, you've got problems). I never thought I would say that a JSF would look good, but you have done it.

Sauragnmon

Hey, the title alone says exactly what is in the material here.  If they get offended, they shouldn't have bloody well looked.

Great work, man, looking good.  I agree, the decal has a transparency instead of white for her teeth.

Aside from that - Boobies!!! Yay for Boobies!!!
Putty-fu, Scratch-jutsu and Bash-chi, the sacred martial arts of the What-If. Mastering them, is Ancient Chinese Secret.

Overkill? Nah, it's Insurance.  So are the 20" guns.

The US Post Office has a nipple phobia too- back in 1989 they had to remove one from a POSTAGE STAMP, which meant removing a dot, and a small dot at that.  Here's the first version of the sad tale I could find:

Looking good Nils.  I have to agree with Greg that anyone finding that particular art offensive would have 'issues' to say the least.  Gotta love Monicas either way, but it's a nice look for the big girl which in itself is far better than the F-35 in my opinion.

Good looking work. Her teeth aren't yellow, she's got a lemon wedge in the mouth.;)
Look behind you!

Diana on Monica!

Great! Looks like the design was tailor-made for that tail and not modified for this kit.
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

UPDATE:

the first sub-assemblies have now been made, furthermore, the cockpit instruments are also painted

the thing i like most bout the kit, is the seamless intake, all white and a clear view of the fan, wouldnt like to get a bird strike in this plane

and ive also stared work on the inside of the engine exsausts
