Well just thought I'd show this one almost completed. Just needs a canopy and some Sidewinders.

That is some really nice work right there, the details on the weathering is just intense.
Putty-fu, Scratch-jutsu and Bash-chi, the sacred martial arts of the What-If. Mastering them, is Ancient Chinese Secret.

Just your friendly neighbourhood Mad Scientist and Ship-whiffer.

Overkill? Nah, it's Insurance.  So are the 20" guns.

The flash brought the white in the decals out to much. They had a coat of Future mixed with the base colour added (extra dark sea grey) sprayed over them before the flat coat to blend them in.

I'd leave the 'winders off. The mode looks simply superb as it is, and unless you've got the correct type from the Hasegawa weaps set (D/H), adding them may detract from an otherwise excellent model...... just my opinion of course, you do what you feel is right.

Did I mention that's an outstanding model......
