I was email chatting with Greg today about his new C-5 decals he has listed in 1/144.  Turns out he can do them in 1/72 too which is fantastic, need some for mine.

So what were the other What If schemes?!??!?

There was a programme on the TV lastnight about the Red Arrows and I see they have a C-17 to fly all they stuff about with.

Kind of surpises me that they're using them when there's hardly enough to go around, but I found this pic on the RAF website from them returning from Rhode Island:

I wonder if a C-17 is used purely for overseas tours & they return to their Hercs when back in Blighty?  Wouldn't make sense deplete the C-17 fleet permanently of one aircraft.  Maybe Martin (IIRC?) could reprise his Red Arrows Herc?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

It wouldn't make sence but I wouldn't be suprised after all, how much does it cost to run the Red arrows each year when the they are short of money.

Seems C-17 decals are the hot ticket item, XtraDecal has released two sets, one sheet purely USAF and the other 'Over Seas' aircraft, RAF RAAF and Canadian, in 1/144 scale.

Hmm, I can just see a set in 1/144 of C-17s supporting the Red Arrows, the Thunderbirds, and the Blue Angels and all in appropriate specail markings schemes; that could make for a spectacular flightline if all were present at the same airshow.

With the new Anigrand Galaxy being release, Draw Decals are releasing a decal sheet for it.

These are the decals Mel @ S and M Models is promoting. Nice idea as covered in Chris Gibson's 'On Atlas's Shoulders' so a genuine Project Cancelled proposal. Just a shame the new Roden kit in 1/144 is still a hefty price

£120 for a 1/144 scale kit? I know it's big, but it's not THAT big!  :o

And I've got an Otaki one already, so I know.....

List is > $120USD, so once again, you're dealing with $ being replaced with £.  :banghead:

Spey_Phantom
