Replaced Sea Venoms serving aboard HMAS Melbourne from 1963 until the carrier was decommissioned in 1981. A 1967 upgrade gave the ability to carry AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles in addition to the original Firestreak armament

Holy Smokes, Marty...you're all over the place with cool models !

Love the look of this one. Great idea for the sidewinders as well.....that would really make her a great fighter. I've got one half built somewhere, and it's always been a kit I've wanted to do. I wish one would come out in 144th scale. Just something so cool about the shape, makes me want to fly it around the room.....

Real pretty! I love carrier birds, and I love twin tails, so this gets me twice over!
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Looks good.  Simple, clean and quite plausible.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.
