Suppose three would be bought to celebrate another landslide election victory?

Only Zim$ 000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.23 each.

Gripens, had they been on offer (not!) would have been too expensive anyway.

Great profile there, Gekko.       Already got a J-10 to primer, ready for wiffin'.  So this will be done real soon.

What is the aircraft "kill" silhouette under the canopy?
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Mugabe has a Learjet? I would think he had a An-12 VIP plane  Luxurious folding seats along the walls, that are plastered with horrible dark brown glossy wood? And a picture of the great leader on the bulkhead? Now we are talking africa! (thinks back of the horrible president photos that Tanzanian law said you had to hang in all classrooms...)

Finished.  The other pics were a bit blurred.  So this is it.

This one was very therapeutic for me.  I'd already got a J-10 in a botched paint job, abandoned out in the utility room where I do my rattle can spraying.  Anyway, when I saw Gekko's scheme, and having noticed a few days before that I had some Zim decals in an Aircraft In Miniature / Transport Wings CASA Aviocar kit, that was instant inspiration and a quick result guaranteed.  My occupational therapy came from painting the fancy wiggly camo, matching the profile best as I could, and then having the artistic license to wiggle it as I pleased elsewhere!

Wiggle it.  Just a little bit.   ;D

That WAS quick.  I take it you don't have to sleep at night?   :o

That didn't take long.  I like that camo.  How did you mask all those intricate shapes?

Ed
We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Roger the Cabin Boy

Mask???  Nah, handpainted squiggles.

As for speed. Well, 5 minutes to blast overall primer from a can, 10 minutes to deal with joints and imperfections.  Three 20 minute applicatons of the light coat, (mixed from a matt white, to a browner shade of pale) 15 minutes painting missiles, an hour on the other camo colours and underside, 15 minutes decals, 5 minutes Games Workshop matt varnish, 15 minutes cockpit detail and u/c.

3 hours five minutes.  Maybe the original construction was 2 hours.  Not a bad kit either.
