..... and where can I get one please?

Someone has said it's the Xtrakit Meteor and it's only GBP6.99. You can get them from Airfix direct, or Hannants themselves, which I find surprising as it's half the cost of the Xtrakit kit and almost three times cheaper than the MPM offering, which if it is the Xtrakit kit, then it's the MPM kit.

Thanks it's on the Hannants' web site now' it was not there a day or so ago. So I should be able to pick one up locally in a week or two. Cheers

Got mine in Croydon Modelzone yesterday.

Looking and comparing it would appear to be the MPM/Special Hobby/Xtrakit moulds without the resin. Nice transfer sheet RAF/BAF. Was causing a little commotion in MZ, mainly because it was almost un-announced

The Xtrakit/MPM kit didn't have resin, it was a straight styrene kit. Then of course we got hit by a glut of resin sets for it by CMK, the aftermarket arm of MPM.

Got one, and at half the price of the Xtrakits/MPM versions the thought of chopping up to make a PR.10 doesn't seem scary!! ;D ;D
PS nice decal sheet inside.

I have a "Rareplanes" vac-formed conversion of the Mk VIII if anyone wants one. Plus a NF 14 vac.

I've got the FR version in the stash which I started at the end of last year. Superb little kit, goes together with very little effort - really must get around to finishing it soon. At £6.99 the Airfix version is just 'affordably ripe' for Whiffing. Thunderbirds version anybody ?

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
