Hello All:

I went to the annual Modellbrno model exhibition today. It was smaller than usual, but still good.


A rather fetching Lightning

Loved the camo on this one, the emeny wil NEVER see it coming!

This little critter was a hybrid of a Mig-21 and an L-39 Albatros and probably a bit more and is in the markings of the Czech Navy Air Force.

Imagine that beast having any post war career at all!


I though these last two looked just right in so many ways.

I'll post pics of the non wiff stuff later.

A Czech I-16 isnt that in plausible they did after all build SB-2´s but that coloring looks like a NDH display team aircraft

Thanks for posting those, Upnorth! I especially like the I-16 and the Hurricane. Yet more proof few things spice up an aircraft like Czech markings!

That 21+39 is the horse's nuts!    And I think the I-16 is trying to hide behind the pylons at Reno.

SOme amazing wiff's there. For me it is the Lightning that does it, although the Hurri is a very close second.

That little (and I do mean little) critter is a Skoda-Kauba 257 and in reality it actually made it to a flying prototype.

You can get it in resin and its not at all a bad looking little kit.
