just out of curiousity, would the rotors clear the tails during various maneuvers?

OH SO COOL Cap'n. I saw you posted this but I have not been able to see pictures for the last couple of days due to an idiotnet problem. This is so slick. I wish I had come up with it.

Now that's one of the most unique and imaginitive designs on here in a long time.  Very cool!

I think I mentioned this way back in the build thread, but it reminds me of an alien (from the Alien movies).
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Sisko

I remeber when you first started this off.

I was a little unsure but I thought what the hell let's wait until it is finished.

Now I am sure........that it looks cool!!

Cool.

When i first saw this thread i thought you were going down the rotor-less route and just having the cobra body as a fuselage in the P-38 style. But keeping the rotors gives it VTOL and makes it a versatile beastie.
Well done again.

Captain Canada

Thanks guys !

And don't worry, Ves....I've been doing 'various' manouvers with her for years now, and we haven't had a crash yet !

This is so "out of the box" that there IS no box!  You have a very fertile mind, Captain!

Over the top !
I agree: you are over the top of what-if modellism, dear Captain:
Such a lovely model...

Just a little extra question: what about anti-torque...?
I guess, either:
- the starboard engine has more power/rpm than the port one
- the direction of the propellers is very slightly oblical
- the rotor is power-less just freely rotating for STOL lift (but what are the pod turbine exhausts for?)
Anyway, I love it, as a desk model, love it so much...
