Comrade Major Lacombski,

a truly magnificent achievement - we, as are all of your comrades in the glorious union of soviet socialist republics, are truly blessed to have aircraft like these defending the Rodina from the vile taint of capitalist excess!

I can see her now, in full afterbuerner, roaring from the deck of our carrier, clawing her way into the sky to do battle with those western fools!

a highly impressive aircraft indeed Comrade Major, a nation gives you its thanks!

Onwards comrades, to victory!

Excellent work Comrade Ollieveski!  Your OKB has performed far beyond our greatest socialist hopes!  Now, next thing on the list would be to determine why Comrade Toadeski is speaking with a capitalist accent...

Comrades!  Thanks alot for your word of encouragement!

Retro, the engine is a Derwent, and is non-afterburning.  Remember, this is the year 1950!!!

Tomski, a report is being drafted for you and better images will be made...

Vesperovich, check Toadarov's records!

My apologies comrade!

the image of the marvellous mig-17 "fresco" that i was watching at the decadent yanqui airshow this last wekend is clouding my memory.

the engine is indeed the rolls royce derwent, and not the superior soviet development of the rolls royce nene, the Klimov vk-1, which i saw on the "fresco".

although i did indeed realise my error the moment that you were so kind to point it out, it was still a foolish mistake comrade, a case of the fingers on the keyboard working faster than my aging mind - incidentally comrade, the derwent (or rather rd-500), was it equipped with water injection as was the nene on the mig-15?

apologies comrade major, may the motherland forgive me.

Comrades,

OKB Lacombeski has delivered on its promise!  The La-15K is being loaded onto the carrier as we speak.  However, the fools scheduling the update rotations have inadvertendly caused a delay (obviously a result of imperialist interference).  Those responsible at on their way to the gulag.  Expect to see the La-15K in less than two weeks!

Comrades!

Those are excellent news that you are bringing to me, Tomski.  I shall wait patiently until our glorious server has uplaoded this patriotic contribution!

Comrade Lacombski

A very nice display showing the might of the Soviet people in getting our own Carrier Jets to North Korean. A nasty surprise for the medelling imperialists trying to inhibit the peoples revolution much like they failed to do in 1919 !!!!.
