Ok ... let’s start with the real CHINESE “what-if” projects ! I collected them during the last two or three years while surfing / searching the net and esp. some Chinese aviation forum !

Here we go .... the first one is a 5th generation FSW fighter in the class of the JSF !   :blink:
...
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever; I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now; put out every one:
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the woods:
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

as You see the name LEGO ... You will see him again and again the next days .... I don’t know him but as I know he – or she – seems to live in Shanghai .....

here's another view !

All I have to say is WOW!  :o

I reeeeaaaallllly like the first design.   :wub:  :wub:  :wub:

Intakes and forebody somewhat YF-23-ish but would have to move the cockpit area well aft.

Also tweak the -23s rear end to something more 'normal'.

Then the wings.  Have no idea where to start with those but I'm thinkin!

Is that a F-18 something in flames in the background of the first pic?!?

Also notice the AAM just under the intake carried F-15 style.  Not a good idea for stealth, but looks cool!

Ollie

Jahaa!

The first design is one heck of a birdie-bird!

I confirm that it's a F-18 going down, maybe Australian?  Or Yank?

You could make one using a kitbash of JSF and YF-23.  For the wings, make them up, using laminated sheets of styrene, and then sand.

Ooohhhhhhhh........

:wub:

Captain Canada

I like the mini-fighter.........maybe we could afford it ?! :o
CANADA KICKS arse !!!!

Long Live the Commonwealth !!!
Vive les Canadiens !
Where's my beer ?

So here I sit with about half dozen kits and books and such looking for some way to build this dog.

YF-23 platform is out.  Too flat.

F-35 nose is about right.

Wings look close to the S37-might go with those.

Fuselage donor is looking to come from F/A-22A but with different stab and tail configs.

Can't find intakes that I'm happy with.   :(

The quest goes on........

The Chinese F-16s are very beautiful, and it is a shame they were so unknown in our usual magazines, till you came here Deino, revealing them... Thanks A LOT !
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]
