Comrades!

Today marks a great date!  The fuselage of the La-15K has been successfully assembled by the skilled workers of Plant Number 145.  The engine was attached to the aircraft, and the the vertical surface was afixed too.  Under my careful supervison, we also modified the wings for naval use, mainly by cutting the main spar in two and reinforcing it to allow for the planing surface to be folded, so our brave sailors of the Red Fleet can bring along more fighters on their thundering warships!

We also received the photo equipement, and Igor, a veteran of Berlin, two times Hero of the Soviet Union, took two pictures to mark that day.  You will see, my socialist comrades, that the aircraft is resting on supports while we work on the landing gears.  Also, note that the airfield is host to some captured imperialist aircrafts.  Today, our soon-to-fly-and-to-be-nimble La-15K shared the floor with a Japanese fighter!

The socialist ideology and science will triumph over the capitalist blasphemy!

Here is Igor's second image.  Note the wings resting on the fuselage, itself on the jigs.

Comrades!

Thank you for all the nice red feedback you gave me!

As far as bringing the camera in the factory is concerned, I am the chief project supervisor for this important work, so I make up the rules.

Comrade Lacombski,

As chief project supervisor of this project, you have the highest security clearance. Apart from myself and Comrade Satilin himself, so bringing a camera to photograph a magnificent project of the heroic workers party is accepted.
Beside, I checked out your background and found nothing that would 'comncern' us.
