Chris, can I have about 23 votes in this years poll please?

What's it worth ?

$3.45, a sheet of Trumpeter Wyvern decals with the instrument panel ones cut out and an Australia Post pen.

I've just checked the current exchange rate, sorry.

Now if they'd been Kiwi $'s it might have been different. Haven't got any of those in the box where I keep examples of all the currency from countries I've visited, because I haven't been there  ;)

My Stash Just Grew Again / Re: My stash just grew again 2018.

You'll give Chris ideas...

I'm Mr nice guy. Now 25/30 years ago......................

Very little at MK yesterday, indeed only what I'd pre-ordered. There were a couple of things I went "oh, I might be able to....." including some armour, but I've decided I'm only going to buy things that I have definite plans for rather than things I have vague ideas about. Far to many of the later sitting mournfully in the stash.

So -

RS Models 1/72 Reggiane 2006. They've added a new sprue for the fuselage to their existing 2005 kit. Includes transfers for the prototype which was built in great secrecy apparently, although it never flew, and then handed over to the Allies where it was broken up without being tested. Also includes 3 What If options.

Yahu 1/72 etch French WWII seatbelts. I'm a great fan of their instrument panels and thought I'd give them a try. Look very nice, unpainted unlike the newer Eduard stuff, but that's no problem

Eduard 1/72 canopy mask for the new tool Airfix Mitchell.

We did have fire bombers in the state yesterday but they were these little T-tail regional jet looking things.

Like this one Brad ?

A couple of hours ago two British Army AH-64s came over from the SW heading in to Prestwick, then they have just gone back the way they came.

I can see you had fun with the decals.
What would you do, next time, to overcome the transparency issue?

Good question (you are not an educator are you?).
Particularly as I have another of these kits (black car - different anime - something to do with witches).
I think the easiest way would be to scan the decals and print them onto white decal paper.  I would then cut them out and use them as backing for the kit decals.  That should do the trick.

The use of a hologram would work well here.

There's something about a Wyvern that triggers the Whiffness in many of us.

Y'day at the MK Show we were right opposite the Coventry Club, and one of their members had 4-5 FAA 1/48 aircraft models on show, and his Wyvern TOWERED over the lot of them!  :o

For me, I fell in love with them when I read the line "weighs almost as much as a DC3".
