Miles M.52 - questions about the A+V Models 1/72 kit
« on: April 14, 2019, 08:55:30 am »
I've just started building this kit. It contains a few parts I can't identify:

Some of this PE fret looks like a seat belt, but what are parts 2-5?

and what are these wires? Brake lines?

None of these are mentioned in the instructions...

2 looks like a compresion link for the nose U/C
3 ditto for the main U/C legs
4 an early type of ejection seat handle, in this case more likely for ejecting the forward capsule.
5 I can not see 5.
As to the wires I have no idea.

5 is the tall bit on the far right of the fret.

I'd say the fret has nothing to do with the M.52.

I've got the kit somewhere in the loft at me Mam's (I *think*...) and IIRC, most A&V kits have a generic etch fret.  TBH,

I'd be more worried about the thick, railway sleeper type wings.
