Heinkel He-619E, finished page 3
« on: April 07, 2019, 10:59:38 am »
Last week I have ordered a 1/144 Heinkel He-219 Uhu and I plan to transform it in a little twin-boom He-619:

little twin-boom He-619:
I thought of calling it He-319, at first, but the Putnam book about German planes WW2 told me the He-319 was a true project of single fin He-219: :-\

And the He-419 was a He-219 derivative (7 built copies) and the He-519 was a He-119 derivative, so mine was (will be) the He-619... ;D

Here is the box-art of the model I have ordered. I like there is a RAF version, not only a Nazi one, while mine will be civilian:

I don't know what the parts will look like, making my first project easy or not.
I consider another possibility:

A push-pull asymmetric version would be also possible, but less crazy/funny... :-\

Maybe this will be just a simple twin-boomer with short pod:

I have received the kit:

The parts shape make difficult several possibilities, and it may be He-619D way

I have adapted the project to the parts' cutting: no move rearward of the engines, mainly:

Another way would be possible, with hard butchering and a lot of putty, but I feel lazy... and PSR on 1/144 tiny models is not easy. :-\
