With my last order at Unicraft, I included the YL-15, see http://www.unicraft.biz/on/bl15/bl15.htm

Of course, it will be what-ifed into a twin-boomer (bipoutre in French): L-15B ;D

First drops of glue, and parts that I may use:

Ooooh, a cracking little aeroplane the YL-15.

I built an R/C flying one many years ago, and it looked and flew a treat.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thanks for the English lesson: "a treat" was unknown to me but Google translate told me.

The span is surprisingly huge for this little plane, and that is for sure pleasing you, Kit. But... I am a what-ifer and I will not "respect" this big span. My project is a tandem wing biplane twin-boomer:

I stand by what I have said before, I still think you have found the (nearly) best thing to do with a unicrap kit.

First sanding, then second putty step:

The second sanding is done. The second wing will at last be at the top rear of the pod.

Last drops of glue, into a slightly asymmetric bird (booms and fins):

Painting the underside (not to be seen normally):

Painting the side above, more seriously. Completion is scheduled for tomorrow (unless the Earth planet disappears before tomorrow, what-if?).

Thanks!
Now the L-15B model is finished. Rather far from the L-15A/YL-15... ;D
