"I 'ad that Don Garlits in my cab the other day.  Bloody yanks coming over 'ere taking our jobs..."

My original hinge plan would not have worked so additional structure is being created for hinge 2.0.

Here is the almost completed interior.  I had another go at embossing raised lines onto very thin styrene sheet.  Not 100% successful but it'll look much worse if I try to remove it.

Eduard.  They do six point (which these are) and four point pre printed PE harnesses.  You used to have to be carefull bending them as the paint could flake off but they seem to have addressed that now and these went together without any problems other than the usual offering to the carpet gods.
I got them from BNA Modelworld here in Melbourne.  You might be able to get them from Hiroboy.

Doh!  :banghead:

I didn't know Eduard did 1/24 stuff, thanks.

I'll check out Hiroboy, annoyingly they're only 20 miles away from me but you can't visit their place to buy stuff.

I've also got some Japanese harnesses (Studio 27 or Crazy Modeller IIRC).  They are paper or thin ribbon with PE hardware.  The ribbon ones are OK but with the paper ones you cut them to width from coloured paper and the cut leaves a visible white edge.

So i've built a hinge for the body.  Some minor shaving of bodyshell was required for clearance.
I'm now building a hinged stay which will support the lifted body.

Oooh, ooh, (Mr Peevley) it's getting close to being done.

Exhausts are built and painted (second attempt, first coat of paint bubbled for some reason) and cleared.  Just need attaching.
Fuel tank is attached and just needs plumbing and a cap.
Parachute needs painting and it's mounting frame finishing off and the release cable and strap scratching up.

Should be finished in time for Valentines day.

Lucky we allowed an extension eh.  ;)
