I received it today, thanks!

Now I have bought Super glue and I can start making my derivative of it.

The parts I am going to use:

With the first glue and putty. This will be a 3-seater with crew one above the other (no air scoop):

Here is the principle of the what-if transformation I consider for this (already) what-if plane:

Neat stuff Tophe cool idea flipping it like that.

CANADA KICKS arse !!!!

Long Live the Commonwealth !!!
Vive les Canadiens !
Where's my beer ?

Tophe

Thanks!
The hard work has started. Filling the old cockpit requires a lot of putty, then there will be more putty addition, and sanding.

Yup  Maybe as a "air control" aircraft ? The French and Italian's certainly looked at the idea of having flying control rooms in order to control the air battle. I've got the Unicraft kit of one of the French proposals.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Tophe

Thanks!

Here is the present state, after sanding.

I have truncated the wings (sorry PR19_Kit) because I lack room in my shelves... ;)

I'll forgive you Tophe, no probs.  ;D

Just this once though...............  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Tophe

Thanks!
Maybe I was punished (by God probably) because without the straight central part of the wings, the booms are not parallel anymore... :-\
But this is simply "further what-if"... ;)

My son Jacky (8 years old) painted the underside. Thanks to him.

The model P.99B is finished.
Very imperfect but good enough for me, sorry.

To explain a little: the 1/72 single-seat fighter with piston engine (source) is now a 1/100 six-seat civilian plane powered by The Force. What-if...? ;)
PS. The true P.99 is featured at http://modelplanes.de/royal-air-force/jaeger-royal-air-force/boulton-paul-p-99-unicraft-resin/ for the ones preferring fighter warbirds than pacifist dreams.
