It'll be good to see a 170 back here again after all this time.

As for the Tornado 'Hindenberger' tank, I'd imagine that if it was found in Preston, a thorough search of BAe's flight plans might be worthwhile. Specially those where aircraft had landed with less load than when they took off......  :o
Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The Tonka tank could be the basis of a Belly Tanker style lakes racer (traditionally built from P38 belly tanks).

Another ill conceived, poorly thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

The tank was found at a garden centre.  Cut it in half lengthways and you have two fifteen foot planters!

The only Freighter I've ever seen is the one used as a gate guardian at Yellowknife Airport. Ex-Ward Air one and you could get right up and under it too. I had some photos of it here but -----

Here's one of it off the internet, mine are similar.

I was hoping I'd taken a photo of the Freighter in situ at Ardmore but sadly no. I'm very pleased that it's gone where it's gone and that it will get some love.

The other Freighter I've seen on a regular basis is this lovely lady (recorded on my phone last Easter. Lots better available on YouTube):

I find it very hard to believe Academy would make a mistake like that he said sarcastically...
